Quest Course Descriptions

Unit 1

1.          Character Driven Leadership
Course Objective: To recognize that leadership rises and falls on character, and that the pursuit of biblically informed character is a lifelong quest toward personal and leadership excellence.

2.          Overcoming the Dark Side of Leadership
Course Objective: To assist leaders in understanding that everyone has a dark side in their private world, that unless addressed, will ultimately be manifested in their public life.

3.          Leading With Integrity
Course Objective: To equip leaders with lifestyle principles and leadership values and skills that will help them to address the integrity deficit that exists because of compromise and complacency.

Unit 2

1.          The Significance of Serving
Course Objective: To fully recognize that godly leadership is one that prioritizes service to God and others above self-interest.

2.          Integral Character
Course Objective: To learn that the foundation to character based leadership is the core of authentic humility and a call to greatness, commitment to character development, and shaping of leadership attributes. The influence and impact that results from integral character (whole or complete character) positions us for greatness through service to God and others.

3.          How do we Influence Positively?
Course Objective: To conduct leadership in a manner that rejects force, intimidation and manipulation as a means to influence, but instead seeks to persuade, motivate and have followers recognize the spiritual authority of your influence.

Unit 3

1.          Commitment to Transformative Change
Course Objective: To understand that the essence of leading is to achieve transformation, and that leading change is a priority responsibility for a leader.

2.          Developing a Clear and Sustainable Vision
Course Objective: To equip leaders to assess their present vision and strategy and assist them in making changes that reflect their current reality, including the discovery of what core values must be preserved and those that must be discarded.

3.          Adaptive Strategy for Better Results
Course Objective: Leaders will learn to identify the challenges that organizations face in making necessary changes in a rapidly changing world, and how adaption to change is a true test of leadership.

Unit 4

1.      Starting Strong - Finishing Well

Course Objective: To develop a personal strategy of leadership that produces sustainability, perseverance and lasting impact.

2.      The Power of Collaboration - Effective Teamwork

Course Objective: To develop a mindset and strategy of building teams and including others for maximum impact.

3.      Mentorship - Leaving a Legacy

Course Objective: To develop emerging leaders through intentional mentoring relationships.
